Why did we open an office in Oman?
In 2024, we launched sales in Oman's main cities – Muscat and Salalah. Over 9 months, brokers closed 97 deals worth $30 million, bringing the company $1 million in commission. And for a new market, that's a solid indicator.
Who buys in Oman most often?
Among buyers, you often find Brits, Germans, and French. Saudis and Qataris also love buying apartments here, as they appreciate the local nature with tropical savannahs and green mountains with waterfalls. There's a separate category – buyers from the CIS. They typically purchase properties as a summer house by the sea.
Russia and Oman recently signed several agreements facilitating citizen movement. The rapprochement continues in the economic sphere as well. The security level here is the same as in Dubai. The sea is cleaner, the climate is milder – in mid-summer it's +32 °C.
Prices here are lower: beachfront property in new buildings with a private beach costs 3 times less than the equivalent in Dubai.
We've signed an exclusive to sell a major project from a Russian developer in a protected area of Muscat with mountains, sea, and untouched nature. A mini-city with all necessary infrastructure is planned.
We're also consulting another domestic developer from the deluxe segment that bought land nearby. Helping them enter the local market.
